I am a recent graduate of Kutztown University. I majored in dance/dance production & management. I am a veteran member of their Performing Dance Portmanteau (PDP) as well as an original member of the Lenhart Dance Company for 2 years. I have danced choreography by Paul Taylor, David Parsons, Donald McKayle, Twyla Tharp, Ruth Andrien, and Olive Prince. I have one year teaching experience with children of all ages in all area's of dance training. I currently hold a position at a studio in Folsom, PA but am also looking for another position at a studio closer to Conshohocken.

"I began dancing at the age of 4 and since then dance has been my passion. Growing up I danced at a studio called Star Dance Productions in Tyler, Texas. At the age of 14 I was invited to be in the top performing group which was called â Stars in Motionâ . While I was a star in motion I also taught 8 dance classes throughout the week for Star Dance Productions. Those classes included tap, jazz, ballet, and modern. While dancing for Star Dance Productions I received 3 scholarships. One from L.A. Underground, L.A. Dance Magic, and Termaine both competitions held in Dallas, Texas. While dancing with the studio I was also an Officer of our Drill Team which consisted of 70 members and 6 officers. I then attended Texas State University where I majored in Public Relations and Minored in Dance. Throughout college I would take several dance lessons and would also choreograph for the University of Texas Rush. I also, choreographed several routines for the Robert E. Lee Spring Show and placed with each routine. Currently I am still taking classes, choreographing, and have been a guest judge for a few dance studios. I feel like I have a lot to offer students and want to impact their lives as my teachers did to mine. I believe everyone has a talent and dance happens to be mine. I am currently a Houston Texan Cheerleader for the 06 season. I danced as a Houston Rockets Power Dancer this past year. I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University. I owned a dance studio in Crockett from Aug 00-May 05. My studio was called Dana's Dancers and was very successful. I directed annual recitals, choreographed for recitals and competition and ordered costumes as well as bookkeeping. Teaching is my passion and I would love to start at a studio in June and teach summer classes and fall as well. I am qualified in jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, tap and ballet. Hello, I am currently in college at Lamar Universtiy and I am working on my Dance Degree. I have been dancing for over ten years. I have taken tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip-hop, praise dance, and ballroom dance. I was on my Highschool drill team and varsity cheerleading team. I was a UCA allstar Cheerleader and I won many awards in dance. I am now on a divison 1 dance team at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. We have won many NDA college dance awards. I love working with kids and teenagers. I love dancing it's my passion. I am looking for a job this summer teaching anything it doesn't matter. When I finish school next year in May I will be looking for a dancing or teaching job.
